Emergency service

Has your sports hall flooded? We act fast.

A roof leak, a door letting water in or a burst pipe can take a court out of action. The sooner we step in, the more of the floor can be saved.

How we work

  1. Site visit and assessment. We measure moisture in the wood and the subfloor, check the installed system and mark out the affected area.
  2. Technical report and quote.Documented with photos and measurements, ready for your insurer or public body.
  3. Igloo drying system. We enclose the affected area and combine dehumidifiers, heaters and air circulation to dry the wood and everything beneath it.
  4. Repair. We replace only the damaged boards, following the original laying pattern with no straight cuts, so the repair blends in.
  5. Sanding, varnishing and line marking. We match the repaired area to the rest of the court and repaint the game lines.
Can my floor be saved? It depends on the system installed. Floors on battens usually recover well if dried in time. On foam-backed systems, or with rock wool under the wood, the water stays trapped and the affected area normally has to be replaced. We tell you straight from the first visit.

We have restored municipal sports halls across Catalonia after floods and leaks. We work with insurers, contractors and local councils.

Case study

Palau Sports Hall, Girona

Girona City Council · 350 m² of Junckers parquet on battens. Roof leaks flooded one end of the court. We set up a drying igloo with fans, heaters and dehumidifiers, and dried the parquet and battens in about 10 days without replacing the wood.
